Data Center Rack and Stack Technician This project is part of a large Data Center Project that could span into many more Data Centers across the US. We will be working in a team, multi shifts and this is cutting edge on Gen AI work experience in the Data Center. Location: Round Rock, TXResponsibilities:

• Rack and Stack Deployments: Execute server rack and stack deployments following industry standards, best practices, and guidelines. Rack Servers, run Ethernet and Cat 6 for 200-600 servers.

• Decommissioning: Conduct decommissioning of servers and equipment from pre-existing racks.

• Cabling: Assist with cabling tasks related to server installations Cat5/6 and Fiber.

• Physical Relocation: Physically relocate assets within the same data center.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment installations and configurations.

• Troubleshooting: Assist in troubleshooting hardware-related issues.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other data center teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 1 years of experience in data center operations, specifically rack and stack tasks.

• Technical Skills: Familiarity with server hardware, switches, routers, and backup equipment.

• Basic understanding of power and cooling requirements.

• Proficiency in cabling and cable management.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow guidelines precisely and maintain accurate documentation.

• Physical Fitness: The role involves lifting and moving heavy equipment, so physical fitness is essential.

• Certifications (optional but preferred):CompTIA Server+ or similar.

• Data center-specific certifications.
